Charcoal face mask is one of our favourite products here at Bathe Botanicals. We love a good mask.

 

For thousands of years, clay has been used in skincare as a way to draw out impurities. It's one of the OG of skincare if you like. It's natural and works.

 

We have formulated our Charcoal face mask to ensure it is right for all skin types. This Charcoal face mask is particularly good for oily skin, teenage skin and men's skin.

 

Benefits of Clay Masks

Kaolin Clay is a great option for almost all skin types. It works by gently drawing dirt and build-up out from beneath the surface of the skin as well as absorbing excess oil that may clog pores.

The best clay mask for mature skin and users with a normal complexion, it also works as a mild exfoliant. In addition to refining the surface of your skin to reveal a softened, purified, and clarified complexion, it may also reduce pore size!

In addition to the amazing qualities on offer from the Kaolin clay, we have added Pink Clay. Perfect for dry and sensitive skin types.

 

Activated Charcoal is a wonder ingredient for the skin. It works hard to draw out impurities.  It acts as a toxin magnet, drawing dirt and impurities out of the skin. Activated charcoal has naturally antibacterial properties that can help to remove and kill off bacteria from the skin’s pores. Many people who suffer from acne benefit from incorporating activated charcoal into their daily skincare routine.

 

Activated Charcoal also combats excess oiliness on the skin. In fact, we have tested this on other areas of the body such as backs and chests with amazing results - skin is deeply cleansed reducing irritation and buildup of excess sebum.

 

Because activated charcoal is gentle on the skin and naturally antibacterial, it has also been known to help treat eczema and psoriasis.

Paired with our Charcoal, Tea Tree and Lemongrass soap (click here) this is a perfect skin routine for anyone suffering from excess oil production on their skin.

 

When it comes to effective detoxifying clay masks that deeply cleanse the skin and draw out excess oil and impurities, it doesn't get much better than our Charcoal face mask.

 

We have added finely ground bamboo powder for additional exfoliation. Your pores will be cleansed and your face exfoliated gently after using this mask.

Directions:

Mix the powder with some water until you get a medium-thick paste. Apply to clean dry skin. Leave for 15-20 mins. Wash mask off using warm water and a flannel. Pat dry.
